Do I need to be a 3Rivers member to use indirect auto lending?
Membership is required to finalize the loan, but joining is simple and can be done during the process.
Will I still get a good rate through the dealership?
Yes. 3Rivers offers competitive rates through approved dealership partners—often with fewer fees and more flexibility than traditional lenders.
How is this different from a direct auto loan?
Direct loans require you to secure financing before visiting the dealership. Indirect lending lets you shop for your vehicle and complete financing at the same time.
What is indirect auto lending?
Indirect auto lending allows you to finance your vehicle directly at a participating dealership, with the loan funded by 3Rivers Credit Union.
What’s the difference between the Standard Savings and a High-Yield Savings from other financial institutions?

How do I manage my card or add authorized users?
You can manage cards, set spending limits, monitor transactions, and add or remove authorized users in Business Online Banking. For additional support, our Business Services team is happy to assist.
Are there fees for the business credit card?
There is no annual fee for our business credit card. Other fees, such as late payment or returned payment fees, follow federally required disclosures. You’ll receive a full fee schedule and agreement when you apply.
Do I need to be a 3Rivers business member to apply?
Yes. Business credit cards are available to eligible 3Rivers business members. If you’re not yet a member, a Business Services Specialist can help you open the right business account before submitting an application.

You'll be able to request one complimentary box of 3Rivers checks per year by visiting any branch, sending a request through digital banking, or calling 3Rivers.
What are the fees and how can I avoid the monthly maintenance fee?
Classic Checking has a $5 monthly maintenance fee. You can receive a maintenance fee waiver by meeting one of the following simple requirements:
- Your account is less than 60 days old
- You keep a minimum daily balance of at least $1,000
- You have a minimum daily Relationship Balance of at least $5,000
How do I open a Classic Checking account at 3Rivers?
Opening is simple. Visit any of our 24 branches or apply online. You'll need a valid ID and $25 minimum deposit. Our team makes the process easy.
What if I don't use my 529 plan for school?
As of 2024, you can roll over up to a lifetime limit of $35,000 from a 529 plan to the beneficiary's Roth IRA. The 529 account must have been open for at least 15 years. The annual rollover amount is subject to yearly Roth IRA contribution limits.
Does the online application work on all browsers?
The online application works best in Chromium-based web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave). Unfortunately, the application is not compatible with Internet Explorer. Do not use your browser's Back button.
How does 3Rivers decide which sponsorship applications to approve?
Our Community Engagement Team evaluates applications based on alignment with credit union values, available funding, event impact, and service to our member communities. Meeting criteria doesn't guarantee approval.
